Minimize risk while retaining your temporary workforce.
When you partner with Applied Resource Group as the Employer of Record we become the primary employer, while you remain the on-site supervisor (and, where applicable, the common-law employer for Affordable Care Act purposes).
Could EOR services be right for you?
The war for talent has been fought since 2001, and companies are cognizant of the ramifications of losing. Top talent makes—or breaks—your organization. According to McKinsey, a study found high performers are 400 percent more productive than average ones. So, to get...
As an international company how can we benefit from Employer Record Services?
International employees benefit from a company providing these services because they have the assurance that they’ll be paid on time, that their taxes are being withheld appropriately, and that their employer is operating within compliance of all local laws and standards.
Does this mean you manage my employees now?
No. We would only be taking care of your employees’ payroll, benefits, taxes and other back-office payroll issues, thus freeing you to manage the work of your employees without the hassle.
Once established, how do we ensure our employees are being paid on time and receiving their benefits? How do we track any PTO and/or bonuses?
You will receive a bi-weekly report of all transactions. Employees will also be able to log into the payroll provider employee access site to view paystubs, time off available, etc., along with access to their personal benefits portal.
Is there a fee to terminate services?
There is no fee to terminate services. All you need to do is provide a termination date as soon as possible. We understand sometimes terminations must occur immediately, and that is OK. What is most important is that sufficient time exists when a transition to a new employer of record (YOU!) will take place.

Companies often utilize this model to save themselves from the strain of having to support back-office payroll services on their own. Employees are onboarded quickly rather than over several days or months. Small, medium-sized businesses can focus on managing core business functions without having to worry about employment compliance laws.
Risks tend to fall entirely on the company providing employer of record services; it would not need to establish its own business entity. Companies that only want to test the market with a few employees (or would like to wait until a growth point), will need to obtain benefits and services independently.
Maintain HR Compliance
Companies without expertise in human resources, tax, and data compliance can run into problems when they try to handle this on their own. Employer of record services takes on that burden and allows the compliant company to avoid the significant—financial penalties or other business sanctions—that come with being non-compliant.
