Demand Generation Manager
Location: Hybrid - Alpharetta, GA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $120,000 Base Salary + Benefits
The Opportunity
Our client is a growing B2B technology company seeking an experienced Demand Generation Manager to help build and scale a predictable pipeline engine.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who understands how to turn demand generation strategy into measurable revenue results. You’ll own integrated campaigns across multiple channels, work closely with sales leadership, and take responsibility for generating and accelerating qualified pipeline.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong execution. You should be equally comfortable building a campaign strategy, launching paid programs, creating nurture journeys, analyzing funnel performance, and determining where marketing dollars should be invested next.
This is an opportunity to have meaningful ownership over the demand generation function rather than stepping into a narrowly defined piece of an established marketing organization.
What You’ll Do
- Own the demand generation strategy and campaign calendar across paid, owned, and partner channels.
- Develop and execute integrated campaigns across channels such as paid search, paid social, email, webinars, content programs, nurture campaigns, and account-based marketing.
- Build campaigns targeting decision-makers within mid-market and enterprise organizations.
- Partner closely with sales leadership to align marketing activity with pipeline and revenue goals.
- Establish and continuously improve lead scoring, qualification criteria, funnel definitions, and marketing-to-sales handoff processes.
- Build automated nurture programs designed to increase engagement and move prospects efficiently through the buying journey.
- Develop and execute account-based marketing initiatives targeting strategic accounts in partnership with the sales organization.
- Manage demand generation spend and evaluate channel performance to maximize return on investment.
- Work across CRM, marketing automation, analytics, intent data, and other marketing technologies to improve campaign execution and visibility.
- Own demand generation reporting, including sourced and influenced pipeline, conversion rates, cost per qualified opportunity, channel performance, and overall ROI.
- Establish a disciplined testing and optimization process to continually improve campaign and funnel performance.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of B2B demand generation or growth marketing experience.
- Demonstrated success generating qualified pipeline in a B2B technology environment.
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, HR technology, workforce technology, payments, benefits technology, or another complex B2B solution is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience managing and optimizing paid digital campaigns, particularly Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
- Experience with email marketing, lifecycle/nurture campaigns, content-driven demand generation, and/or account-based marketing.
- Strong experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM/marketing automation environment, including workflows, lead scoring, segmentation, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of B2B funnel metrics, attribution, conversion rates, pipeline economics, and campaign ROI.
- Ability to use data to determine where to invest, what to optimize, and when to change course.
- Experience partnering directly with sales teams and sales leadership.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable operating in a growing organization where you’ll be expected to both develop the strategy and execute against it.
Especially Relevant Experience
Candidates may be particularly well suited for this opportunity if they have experience:
- Marketing to HR, payroll, benefits, finance, operations, or other enterprise business buyers.
- Building demand generation programs for companies selling into large or multi-location organizations.
- Scaling demand generation within an early-stage or growth-stage technology company.
- Developing account-based marketing programs in partnership with enterprise sales teams.
- Working with intent data, enrichment, or prospect intelligence platforms.
- Building or improving marketing attribution and funnel reporting.
How Success Will Be Measured
Success in this position will ultimately be tied to pipeline and revenue impact, including:
- Marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline.
- Qualified lead and opportunity generation.
- Funnel conversion rates.
- Cost per qualified lead and opportunity.
- Campaign and channel ROI.
- Pipeline velocity and progression.
This is not a role focused solely on impressions, clicks, or lead volume. The successful candidate will understand how demand generation connects directly to sales outcomes and will be comfortable being accountable for those results.
